Holden Girls Head to Legoland

For Avery's Winter Break, she really wanted to go to Legoland in Florida so off she and mom went.  Legoland feels like it is aimed at kids 5-7 so Avery was at the perfect age for it.  She was tall enough to ride everything and the longest line was 10 minutes (most we just walked on).  There are a ton of rides which are all fairly short so it's easy to fit a lot in.  We stayed at the new Legoland Pirate hotel which is right out the front entrance so it was easy to head back to the room for a break or quick dip in the hotel pool whenever it was needed.

Avery's favorite ride was a toss up between the Lego Movie ride and Flight School.  We rode each 3 times with Flight School actually being 3 rides in a row because there was no one else in line for the ride.

Avery had a blast and is already planning another trip!  She also lost her second tooth here which meant a special visit from the Legoland Tooth Fairy.

Welcome to Legoland!

Avery is always about the characters.  She found ALL the photo ops and was most excited about the LEGO Friends characters.

Short lines and short rides meant Avery could ride everything she wanted as often as she wanted.

The hotel was fun too with silly elevators, Avery's own "bedroom" and lots of activities.
