A Visit Down Memory Lane

To celebrate Carter's birthday we decided to take him for a quick drive for a visit down memory lane. We packed up the family and headed North, up I-75 to be exact. Our first stop was a lovely little town called Adairsville where we visited the local First Responder unit.
These are the very kind gentleman who gave Carter his first car ride. It was nice to show Carter where all those "Proud Uncles" from the hospital lived.

We then headed South to another local landmark (ok maybe just a Holden family one). Just outside Cartersville, we found mile marker 299... the site of Carter's birth. We took a picture with dad this time since last time mom got all the fun.

It's nice to be able to add to some fun family memories with our healthy 1 year old to those scarier ones from May 4, 2010!
