Gameday... Go Jackets!

This past week there was a slight chill in the air over Atlanta, the leaves were beginning to fall and the grass stayed short a little while longer. That could only mean one thing... it's time for football. And at the Holden House that means time to break out the Georgia Tech gear.

Luckily for Carter, dad has stocked his wardrobe full of options. To celebrate game week, Carter wore several GT outfits to show his support. Sometimes he and dad even matched.

They also worked on their touchdown sign together (it will definitely come in handy this season... we hope).

When it came time for gameday, Carter was ready! He put on his favorite jersey and practiced his cheering.Carter's outfit was a hit at school, especially since there was a little GT Cheerleader in his class as well. When we got home, Carter grabbed his football and was ready to hit the field! He was quite disappointed when mom told him he wasn't going to actually be playing in the game.
But the little guy got over it and gave mom/dad his blessing to go have fun. So off we went to watch the Jackets sting the Catamounts! It was fun to get football season kicked off. It's great to see all our friends and even better when Tech wins!
