Carter's Christmas Party

Today's was Carter's Christmas Party at Preschool   Mom and dad left Parker with Mimi (Thank you!) and got to go participate in the festivities.  The kids have been working hard on decorating their room for the holidays with ornaments, stockings, ginger bread men, candy canes, Christmas trees, etc.  They even have a class Elf they names Susie.
The party started before we arrived.  The kid's had a dance party (Carter's partner was Logan) and played a few games.

The parent party started with a performance by the class.  They sang "Jingle Bells" and "We Wish You A Merry Christmas".  Carter is front right of his teacher.  He sang a little but pretty much laughed and smiled at mom/dad the whole time.
Then we decorated a Christmas tree (ice cream cone, green frosting and cereal ornaments).
After art, it was time for a story... 'The Night Before Christmas'.
And after all the morning activity, everyone had worked up an appetite so we had a yummy Christmas snack.
Soon it was time to pack up our bags and head home.
It was fun to see all Carter's friends and their parents.  And we can't wait to decorate our house with all the goodies Carter is bringing home at school!
