January at Preschool

Carter had a very busy month at Preschool.  Here are some pictures and updates on his activities.  He really enjoys school and loves to tell us all about what AshleySonya (his teachers are one word to him) teach him!

They did lots of activities around cold, winter and the color blue.  Here are the kids enjoying story time while wearing mittens and drinking hot chocolate.

One of Carter's favorite activities is story time with Ms. Mo.  The kids get to play with instruments...
act out songs...
and dance around.
This month they celebrated their art teacher's birthday.  Pictures of 12 2-year olds are just adorable!
And with the weather being a little rainy/cold, the class had some fun indoor activities like the parachute.
Carter actually loved participating and running underneath (he usually gets scared!).
They also celebrated the cold weather with lots of talk about snow including making snowmen for snack!
They ended the month learning about Groundhog day.  Carter was SHOCKED when General Lee said there would be 6 more weeks of winter here in Georgia (here's hoping Punxsutawney Phil was right)!
And they had a Super Bowl party!  Complete with fun football snacks (Pretzels, Cheese Its and Football shaped brownies) and "drills".  They ran, kicked and threw the football while all screaming cheering each other on!  From the pictures, it looks like they had a great time.

And Carter was a huge hit in his Cheese Hat!
