Parker - 15 Months

Little Parker (Parksie) is growing into his toddler age.  He got a great report from his 15 month appointment.  Here are his stats:

20lb 5oz weight (3%)
30 1/4 in height (22%)
19in Head Circumference (79%)

Parksie is still a little peanut!  He is wearing size 3 diapers, 9-12 and 12 month clothes and size 4.5 shoes.  His weight % has dropped a bit but that's normal as his activity level has picked up.
Speaking of activity, Parker has finally embraced walking.  Don't get he wrong, he still loves a good hip carry.  But he will walk around the house in circles and loves to follow brother around.  He also crawls on everything.  He adores sitting in small kid rocking chairs and has mastered crawling onto the kitchen chairs.  He has no interest in sitting in his high chair anymore, he insists on sitting in a real chair.  He won't even give the booster seat a shot.

Teething has been the story of Parker's life for the past few weeks.  He is cutting all 4 molars and his 3 remaining incisors.  This gets him up to 12 teeth which is 7 more than a month ago.  Needless to say we have had some crankiness, runny noses, drooling and rough sleep patches.  Hopefully the last few teeth cutting through will finish up soon!

Parker still has a handful of words: mama, dada, meow (for Morgan) and woof (for Madie and Brie).  Depending on the day he has a few others like Bye-Bye, Banana, wa-wa.  He does have a range of babbles and enjoys having conversations.  He is absolutely adorable walking around the house, holding his blue bear and babbling up a storm!  His party tricks include waving Bye-Bye and blowing kisses.
Here are his current likes:
His brother
Blue bear
Morgan (her tail) - she seems to enjoy his attention as well
Food - oddly enough, he eats a lot for being such a small child!
Wrestling with brother
Books - this is a very recent interest
Playing in the kitchen cabinets
Climbing onto anything
Pointing and getting what he wants

And his dislikes
Being told No (this results in hurling his body on the ground and ear-piercing screams)
Molars (teething in general)
Being knocked down by brother
Not getting his way (see dislike #1)
Parker is so much fun to watch grow up.  He rounds out our family and keeps us on his toes.  He knows what he wants and isn't afraid to let you know when he isn't getting what he needs!  He is sweet, opinionated, giggly and just plain adorable!  Love you littlest man!
