A Visit to Santa

The whole family took a trip to see Mr. Claus today.  Avery looked precious in her giant bow and smock dress from Mimi.  Dad wore her around and got lots of compliments ;)
The boys worked hard on their lists while we waited in line.  Carter was ready to go but Parker fell apart when they called his name.  But since brother was going, he held Carter's hand and worked up the courage to walk up while crying.
Parker was no match for the experienced photographer and they slowly worked a smile out of him.
After pictures, the boys gave Santa their lists.  Parker told him all about his list - Georgia Tech Football Outfit, Lightning McQueen Race Track, Soccer Goal, Wall Stickers and Learn to Football Tackle.
Sweet Avery was so upset at the idea of big brother playing football that she lost it.  Or she finally realized she was hanging out with a stranger.  Could go either way ;)
Then it was Carter's turn to recount his list which included a Coast Guard Station Set, Toy Submarine, Hot Wheels, Big Boy Basketball Hoop and Weights to get strong.  He demonstrated the last one for Santa.
For the child who struggled the most going, he just didn't want to leave.   Parker gave Santa a few last parting words on where to look for cookies and carrots for the reindeer when he came to visit us.
We grabbed a few family photos since the kids were so cute and called it a successful Santa trip!
And here is a picture of the official Santa shot.
