February at School

Carter had a busy short month at school.  Highlights included more Falcon's fun, finishing up his Chinese unit with a field trip to get Chinese for lunch, completing a fun unit in the Ingen studio, Valentine's Day parties, a collaborative art project with some Upper School students and the end to his Winter electives (Lego's, Speed & Agility, Fencing).

Diorama made out of recycled goods.  Carter made a snake and his team made the habitat.

Parker had a fun month long unit on Communication which brought weekly mail delivery to the kids.  Parker loved getting mail from his family each week.  His favorite activities at school are art and Thumbs Up (gross motor skill play).  He also had a lot of fun on Valentine's Day and came home announcing he had four girlfriends now!
Sports team day - Parker picked the outfits.  He was Falcons over GT, Avery was GT over Falcons.

Avery's favorite part of the month was definitely the weekly mail. She loves to sort through her letters at home, look at the pictures, and have people read them to her.  She also loved handing out her Valentine's at school.  She has developed a love of puzzles and playing in the pretend kitchen.  She also regularly comes home with art supplies on her clothes, so while she loves princesses, Avery is definitely not afraid to make a mess.
