A Nashville Wedding: Aunt Shea gets Married

We were all excited to spend Fall Break in Nashville to celebrate Shea and Charles' getting married.  It was the first wedding the kids had been to in awhile (first for Avery) and it meant the Burgess family was coming in town.  The festivities kicked off with a Welcome Party Friday night which started a little late so it was a Scott Kids (Mom, Uncle Reid, and Aunt Bailie) and cousin Maple date.  For the wedding, the kids put on their finest and enjoyed a late evening of dancing, photo booths and yummy food (they got their own dinner of mac and fried chicken).  The kids had a blast and were champs till 10:30pm CST (11:30 EST) and all passed out before we even were able to leave the venue.  The fun finished up with brunch the next day.

The kids really enjoyed the fun.  Cater was particularly fascinated by the bride and groom.  He stalked them around the events and said his "favorite part of the weekend was getting a picture with Aunt Shea and Uncle Charles".  He poignantly recognized that "I got a new Uncle this weekend and it's the last one I will ever get.  So that makes it really special".  Avery was just concerned that mom was getting married but thankfully she would calm down when we explained that wasn't happening.
