Burgess Visit

The kids had been somewhat patiently waiting for a while to see their cousins again.  And when they found out there was going to be a new cousin they were all excited to find out if it was going to be a girl or boy!  So the first thing we did when the Burgess family came to visit for the holidays was a gender reveal.  Aunt Bailie planned a cute scavenger hunt that culminated with cupcakes.  The kids all bit inside to find the blue center... it's a boy!  The boys were thrilled and Avery exploded into tears. 

We managed to fit in a fun few activities while the Burgess' were here including our annual trip to see the 'Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer' puppet show.

We also took cute pictures in matchy jammies after playing 'Dirty Turkey'.

And the boys (old and young) had several epic Nerf gun battles.

It is  always great to see our family and the kids are so sad when they leave.  But we can't wait to meet our newest cousin next year!
