For parent fun this month, Colin played in a golf tournament for our local elementary school with a bunch of buddies.  While they got rained out after 13 holes, their team had a strong case for the best performance!

And we went to the annual neighborhood progressive dinner where the theme was bacon and we were on the dessert team.  

Avery (4 years, 8 months) - A big highlights this month for Avery were getting to spent time at her school for next year during Kindergarten orientation.  She is very excited about her new adventure and is working very hard to make sure she is ready.  Avery had been very into play dates lately and had been enjoying having friends over after school.  She always wants to have her picture taken and has recently taken to carrying a pretend phone around to randomly call her friends to talk.

Parker (7 years, 5 months) - April was all about baseball for the boys both Braves and Little League.  Parker's team won every game this month and Parker got a game ball for his in the park home run.

Carter (8 years, 11 months) - Carter also got a game ball this month for a great game as catcher and getting a triple.

Carter briefly decided he wanted to sit in the front seat now but then decided two days later he felt safer in the back.

Siblings - The whole family participated in Run n Lovett this year.  It is a 2k around the boys' school to raise money for their scholarship fund.  Avery ran about 1/4 of the race and sat on Colin's shoulders for the rest. 

Along with all our Little League buddies, we went to a Braves game.  The Braves won and we survived the heat!  Colin and the boys also went to a few games.  

Mimi took the boys to Candytopia on their day off school.

And there were lots of sibling snuggles, squabbles and hugs in between.
