October

October was a super busy month between all the kids sports and activities plus a High School reunion, the Burgess Family Visit, a weekend camping, Halloween and more!  It was mom/dad's 20th High School Reunion and we celebrated with a football game Friday night and adult time Saturday night.  It was so fun to catch up with old friends most of whom live out of town.

Mom also got to fit in a fun evening for Ashley's 41st birthday!

Avery (5 years, 2 months) - Avery has been super busy lately and going through a growth sput so she has been a bit more tired than normal.  She had lots of fun at Lovett Homecoming mainly because there was a photo booth she could take fun pictures in.

She also wrapped up her softball season.  She was more into it some games than others but she had fun being with her friends and always enjoyed snack time.  Carter/Parker even got to help out as Catcher and 3rd base coach for some games.  And dad got to pitch the last game where Avery got her first coach pitch hit.

Avery's cheerleading team got to perform during a Campbell High School football game.  Avery was so excited and we were all super impressed with how well the girls did.  They cheered for a full quarter without stopping or repeating any cheers.

Avery also fit in tons of play dates... she has been hanging out with different friends almost everyday after school but we fit in extra time with her friend Caroline.  There were also birthday parties, trips to the park, fun afternoon with Mimi and more.

Now you know why she was so tired!

Parker (7 years, 11  months) - We started the process this month of Braces for both boys.  They are super excited about it so we will see how long that lasts.  We also hit up a new bike park near our house which the boys have been loving.  Parker's baseball season is almost over and he has been having a lot of fun being on of the older kids on the team.

Carter (9 years, 5 months) - Carter's month was all about baseball.  He finished up his flag football season with a tough loss in the semi-finals but he typically spent 5 days a week at the baseball fields.  His rec ball team had a solid Fall season.  The started a little slow but won/tied every game in October.  Carter go to pitch some but mainly played 2nd, 3rd or Catcher.  He was the lead off hitter and lead the team in stolen bases including 6 in his last game.  Carter got to play in his first tournament for his Slammers team and while they didn't win any games, he had a good time experiencing real baseball.  And we all survived a long day at the parks!

Siblings - More pictures from the bike park, Homecoming and a rest on the couch after all this activity!
