Seattle

With summer sports wrapped up, we had a few weeks before school started back up and decided to take full advantage of the ability to vacation again.  So we planned a cruise to Alaska with some friends.  Our ship left from Seattle so we added in a few extra days to the trip to explore the city.

Our first stop was the Woodland Park Zoo where we saw lots of native animals like bears and wolves but the Rhinos were our favorite.

Olympic Sculpture Park and Seattle Center - the kids loved the playground here.

Museum of Pop Culture - the kids enjoyed the video game and sound lab while mom and dad were into the music

Seattle Aquarium - small but the sea lions may it worth it

Pike's Place Market - we saw flying fish, the gum wall, had ice cream and found a special yeti

Pier 57 - Ferris wheel and seafood for Greyson's birthday!
T-Mobile Park - Dad and Parker hit up a Seattle Mariners game and even found some neighbors

Space Needle - Parker was into the Space Needle, Avery was OK with it and Carter was not a fan of the heights.  Parker and dad liked taking pictures against the slanted glass walls.  We also

Chihuly Garden and Glass - the kids went through this fairly quick but mom and dad really enjoyed it
