January

January is always a challenging month with the weather and post-holiday let down, but we still had a good one with kids activities, time with friends/family, a family service project for MLK Day and mild winter weather.

Dinner with High School Friends

Avery (8 years, 5 months) - Avery has developed a love of shopping which involves spending hours at Target while she wanders the store, has snacks and asks for her picture taken. It is exhausting but makes her so happy.

For Christmas, Avery received tickets to SlooMoo which is a slime experience. She got to play with slime, walk on slime and get slimed.

Avery also continues to serve on cheerleader duty watching her brothers at wrestling and basketball. It's a good thing her afterschool cheerleading program started back up!

Parker (11 years, 2 months) - Parker enjoyed finishing up winter break getting to spend time with neighborhood, school and baseball friends. He also enjoyed his basketball season playing with several neighborhood and baseball buddies with dad as his assistant coach. Go Pelicans!

Carter (12 years, 8 months) - Carter wrapped up his Middle School wrestling season with a few scrimmages and the MS State meet. Lovett's A team came in second place and B team came in first. Carter placed 3rd in the B final. He really enjoys the wrestling program and was sad for it to end. Carter also made time for Boy Scouts participating in a few service activities and being elected Assistant Patrol Leader for the semester.
