Month 10 - Week 1

Carter's first week at 10 months had some ups and downs. One highlight was his first dinner with no baby food. Daycare has stopped giving him baby food for lunch so we figured we would give it a try too. We tried to cover all the important food groups... water, bananas, carrots, bread and sloppy joes (only a little sloppy).Carter has fun playing with everything and picking through the options to get the bread and bananas.
Hopefully a big highlight for Carter is his own playroom. We moved dad's office upstairs to make room for all Carter's stuff which was starting to take over the house. We still need to get the final decorative touches but so far it has been a hit.

We were able to get everything set up so Carter has had fun playing with some "new" toys like his basketball set.

Unfortunately early in the week, Carter started to feel a little rough. He wasn't sleeping well but he still woke up each morning all smiles...

and had fun at school with his friends. But by the time dinner came around, he wasn't a happy camper. He tried playing with his toys but he just wasn't as smiley as normal.Luckily he worked out of it by the end of the week and was back to his happy self.

Carter finished his week on a high note when his pal Charlie came to visit. Charlie and Carter weren't quite ready for a full on playdate quite yet but I'm sure it is only a matter of time!
