Thanksgiving Morning

We had a nice family Thanksgiving morning. Some of Colin's favorite things about Thanksgiving involve the TV, this first of which is the Thanksgiving Day Parade. Carter was old enough this year to enjoy the tradition as well.
Since dad had been home for a few days we took advantage and got some of our Christmas stuff out. So while the parade was on, the boys decorated the Christmas tree. Carter was helpful at first...until the "balls" came out. He was immediately drawn to them and spend the rest of decorating time playing with them while dad put up the rest of the ornaments.
Dad tried to help Carter focus on hanging up the ornaments.
And he did pretty well getting Carter to hang up all the balls.
Unfortunately, 5 minutes later they all came off (this on and off game continued throughout the day). So dad decided to distract the little guy with his favorite TV star. Carter was REALLY excited...
to see Elmo ("Melmo" according to Carter).
Carter decided to take a break from all his decorating and watch Sesame Street for a while.
But the break didn't last long as Carter decided he needed to help dad clean up.
Carter and dad then took a quick snuggle break as dad's next favorite Thanksgiving holiday tradition got started... football.
Then it was time for an afternoon nap before getting ready to Turkey dinner!
