Water Baby

Our neighborhood pool opened this week and Carter wasted no time taking advantage... we went 4 times in 5 days.  Carter had been working hard on his beach body and was ready to show it off!

Grandmama and Unclde Reid even joined us one night so we could say "Bye" to Reid before he left for NY (Reid is headed to Cornell for a year to get his Master's ~ Yea for Uncle Reid!).

Carter loved horsing around with dad in the pool.

And when he got tired, he let dad do all the work.

His last trip was particularly fun because dad got him a new squirt gun that he could use to play with the older boys.

When not playing, Carter was actually pretty good at basic swimming moves.  

His arm floaties are GREAT and really help him stay upright.

He seemed to like them too!

Oh, mom and Parker enjoyed the pool too.  Though we spent most of our time on the sideline enjoying the shade!

We're sure there will be LOTS more pool action this summer.  If anyone wants to join, let us know!
