Parker at One Year Old

Here is what our little cutie is like at one.  First his stats from his 1-year doctor appointment:

Weight: 19lb 6 oz (6th percentile)
Height: 29.25in (32nd percentile)
Head: 47cm (68th percentile)

His is progressing nicely on his growth chart and our pediatrician is happy with his development.
Parker is working on walking.  He enjoys using push toys and walking while holding onto mom/dad.  He will stand on his own for a little bit.  He has mastered crawling and loves to climb on things (just like his brother).  One of his favorite activities is racing up the stairs.  He also loves to climb on the bat mobile and ride around (solo or with big brother).  He has learned how to climb on our tricycle and he will bounce up and down until you push him around.
Parker eats 3 meals and several snacks a day.  His favorite food varies each week but he is really into fruit/vegetable pouches right now.  We are working on adding milk to his diet and he is improving using a sippy/straw cup.

He has a few words: mama, dada and uh-oh.  A favorite game involves saying "uh-oh" and dropping whatever he is holding.  Mom/dad then give it back to him and he repeats.  This can go on forever!
He loves people, particularly when they smile at him.  He is a huge fan of his big brother and he loves to be held (This probably relates to a lack of desire to walk.  Why do it yourself when you can get people to carry you around?).

He can be a very dramatic little kid.  When he doesn't get his way, we will throw his body on the ground and sob until you pick him up.  Then he is all smiles again.
We are very blessed to have Parker is our lives over the past year.  He is so much fun and he makes our family complete.  We love you little man!
