Weekly Recap

Parker (1 year)
Parker is officially a toddler.  He definitely still seems like a baby, but I think that will always be the case!  On the development side, this week he mastered clapping and his 5th tooth started popping through.  He loves to move and feed himself/others as evidenced by these pictures.
Mastering driving the Batmobile by himself.
Reindeer on the loose!
Full tummy = Happy baby

Carter (2 years, 6 months)
Carter says the funniest things sometimes and I'm trying to make a note to write them down.  This week we drove by Toys R'Us and we asked him what store that was.  He said the "Giraffe store" and when we asked him what they had at the Giraffe store, he said "Money and toys."  A few days after Parker's party, we asked him if he enjoyed the party.  He said "it was the best party ever, ever, ever.  Can we do it again soon?"

As for new things this week, Carter has developed a love of hiding things.  We thought we were losing our minds when things started going missing recently.  Eventually we realized, it was Carter hiding things.  His favorite hiding spot is under the cat's scratching post.

Here are a few pictures from this week.
This is what I found when I came out of the shower. He was very proud he had tucked himself in.
Carter had a 24 hour tummy bug.  He wanted to sleep on the counter.
He has insisted on turning his bed into a tent with his Cars blanket.

Brothers
The boys love hanging out together.  Parker gets a kick out of the attention.  And Carter loves to show off and provide affection.  Here are some cute pictures from their recent antics.
Riding the bat mobile together.
Carter likes Parker to hang out in his crib in the morning.
Learning about the electoral college

Not a great picture - but we were the first people in the aquarium this week!
