A Visit from Aunt B and Baby Burgess

We were all very excited that Aunt B was able to make it all the way from Colorado for Parker's first birthday!  It was extra special exciting because she brought Baby Burgess with her.  Carter was a bit confused at first when we told her Aunt B had a baby in her belly (He said to "get it out").

But he soon caught on.

He was very sweet to his future cousin and enjoyed giving him/her lots of affection.

Besides party prep, event and clean-up, we were able to fit in a few meals and a trip to the park.  Where Parker showed off his slide technique (head first always!).

And Carter showed off his inner-monkey.  

He made it all the way to the top all by himself

We even took a quick family train ride.

It was a great weekend and we were so excited to see Aunt B and Baby Burgess.  Next time we see her she will be a mom.  How exciting!
