Epcot... part 1

Our first day at Disney, Mickey recommended we head to Epcot  (Mickey again left maps in the room safe each night for Carter and Parker to discover where and what they would be doing that day).  The boys were really excited!  Carter loves the Magic Band concept (the blue bracelet in the picture below, these are RFID bands that act as room key, tickets, etc...) since he gets to be a big kid and use his band to enter the park.
Up first, Mom and Parker headed to the Radiator Springs playground.  It is the annual International Flower and Garden Festival, so Epcot has all sorts of special decorations, events, and food around the park.  Parker was pumped to see the Cars characters and asked mom for a picture with Lightning McQueen.
And Tow Mater.
Meanwhile, Carter and Dad hit up Test Track where Carter designed a monster truck test vehicle.  In our group, his won as the best overall performer.  Only area of poor performance was in fuel consumption... go figure.
Our next stop was Parker's choice for the day... Characters.
Then we wandered through Tinkerbell's Butterfly Garden.  Carter kept trying to get a butterfly to land on Duffy's nose, but was unfortunately unsuccessful.
Before running off to our next stop...
The Seas.  Parker again wanted a picture.  This time with Nemo, Marlin, and Dory (current favs).
After seeing the fish and visiting with Crush (big hit with the kids for anyone planning a trip), we played a quick game of soccer with Goofy.
And wandered by a few more topiaries...
Before finding Duffy.  Both boys decided to bring their bears into the park to meet Duffy.  Carter was very excited for his Duffy to meet big Duffy.
Carter wasn't too into the Characters this trip except for Duffy!  We then spent a few hours wandering around the "World".
The Boys rode the Maelstorm ride at Norway
Delivering Coke in Africa
Playing the drums in Africa
