Burgess and Uncle Reido Visits

The Holden family was in for a treat with a long weekend visit from the Burgess family and Uncle Reido.  The boys had been super excited for baby cousin Wren to come visit for some time.   Unfortunately this means they have cried several times since he left.

With a pregnant mom and napping kids, we had a few adventures over the long weekend but also tried to build in an appropriate nap schedule.  We let Carter/Parker pick the activities and they naturally included the pool and Children's museum.

We had a great weekend and wish all the family lived closer so we could see each other more often!  Here are some pictures from the visit.

We tried to take a sibling picture - Carter insisted on being in it.  Pretty funny since he typically hides from the camera these days.

Dragging Uncle Reido into Lego's - for some reason we pulled out the old box of Reid's Lego's from the basement and spent a large part of the weekend playing with them.

Wren enjoyed the Kitchen and particularly the pots.  Someone has been watching mom cook a lot.

Happy Parker - he particularly loved having Wren around.
