Swim Lessons

The boys have been taking swim lessons this month through a local group that runs our neighborhood swim team.  The lessons are at a local hotel which they think is pretty cool.  Parker is actually a bit more into it than Carter as Carter is scared to let any part of his face go under water.  The lessons seem to have made quite a difference in just a month as their capabilities have definitely improved in just that short time.

At this point they focus on floating, getting comfortable in the water and a few basic strokes.  One thing they do is have the kids float on their back while they count to ten.  They use a food for a counting word so Parker likes to count to 10 Chicken Nuggets.  Carter has chosen his favorite food as Green beans.  Funny kid ;)

Here are some pictures of them in action.
First lesson getting an introduction to coach Jeff.
Carter practicing his kicks with the noodle
Wearing their goggles - Parker chose pink
