Epcot

Today we all headed to Epcot.  While it may not be the first park for kids on most lists, Parker always asks for it and we always seem to make a very full and fun day of it.  After a Rope Drop run to Soarin' for Dad and Carter (Mom, Parker and Avery got to ride The Land), we all headed to Under the Sea to see Nemo.
We also met some of Nemo's friends including Crush.  Carter was picked to ask a question and inquired "What do seas turtles eat?" - sea grass was the answer.  Once back on dry land, we ran into a swarm of Disney friends.
Who doesn't love Chip and Dale?
Kissing Minnie
We then walked over to our lunch reservations at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.  Today was the first day of the annual Home and Garden festival so there was fabulous topiaries all over the park.  Parker insisted we stop on the way to lunch so he could get a picture with floral Anna and Elsa.
At the Royal Hall, we ran into a ton of Disney Princesses.  The boys were smitten and Avery dressed to her best).

We took a quick trip to Mexico where we rode the boat ride, enjoyed the merchandise and picked up a Duffy fan at the Kidkot station for the boys to take around the world with them.

Then it was off to Test Track where Carter rode first with mom and designed this sweet ride.
While Parker played on the Radiator Springs playground (there for the festival) and enjoyed hanging out in the showroom cars with the AC.
While Carter and Dad the rode Test Track, Parker wanted to see the "flowers" so we strolled around and enjoyed.

Tinkerbell butterfly garden is always a hit
We then spent a leisurely afternoon wandering around the International Showcase.  There are special food and beverage stands set up for the festival so we took advantage of numerous unique eats and stopped to enjoy lots of the shows.  Lumberjacks in Canada, a band in the United Kingdom, Flag throwers in Italy and drums in Japan were all big hits.
But the best was the comedian mime Sergio in Italy where Carter got picked to assist throughout the show.

Carter was asked to try and juggle... he froze in this position (very funny and cute)
On our way out of Italy we stopped to take a picture with the ball in the background.  We have a picture of the kids here during every Disney trip we have taken.
We had to make a pit stop at the American Adventure for dad to get a beer flight (maple bacon stout beer is yummy, chili beer... not so much).
And Parker wanted to make a new Duffy fan; he ended up with three fans in total.  The fans were at the Kidkot stations in each country in the International Showcase and the stands are manned by people native to the country you are in.  Parker and Carter loved finding each station and getting stamps and flag drawings on the back of their fans from the people of each country.  Carter also continued his fascination with other people and countries and asked tons of questions.
Some more strolling took us through Venezuela (special festival location), Morocco, Germany, Africa and China.

By this point it was time to give our feet a rest so we got a picture with Duffy (including our our teddy bears and Duffy fans).
We rode Spaceship Earth and headed home to prepare for more fun adventures tomorrow.
