Amelia Island - Part 2

With mom at work for the middle of the week...
dad planned lots of fun activities for the kids.  Carter spent a full day at Camp Amelia where he went swimming, explored the island and made lots of arts and crafts.
Parker rocking the sun glasses his big bro made him at camp
Meanwhile dad and the younger two hit up Fort Clinch, a historic Civil War coastal fort on the north end of the island
Luckily we were all able to meet up for dinner in at the marina at downtown Fernadina.
The next morning, dad took all three kids crabbing while mom finished up at her conference.  The kids caught many blue and fiddler crabs, shrimp, and even a fish.  They also learned a ton about them (ask Carter to tell you if your next crab was a boy or girl... he can tell the difference as soon as he sees the belly).
Setting their simple crab trap
Their first big catch
Scooping for small shrimp and other animals
Parker's small crab friend (later became turtle food - a big hit with the boys)
They even fit in a round of golf...
Before meeting up with mom for an afternoon at the pool.  We spent the next day and a half in the water!
Avery loved the pool
Holden family biggest jump contest
And squeezed in some time for fun and games as well.
Avery's latest favorite chew toy - her toes
Pajama Foosball
