May

With trips, parties, graduation, sports and holiday's, May was a packed month.  Here are some pictures of what the kids were up to over the past month.

Avery (9 months) - Avery is growing tired of basic chew toys and her latest obsession is books.  She likes to read the same ones over and over only taking time to chew on them in between.

Speaking of chewing, Avery had her first tooth pop through this month.  Other milestones included being able to push herself up to sitting, crawling on all fours and standing on her own for a few brief seconds.  She is a busy girl who doesn't like to sit still!

Unless she is passed out in the car!
Or her jumper!
Parker (3 years, 6 months) - Parker is all three year old - adorably sweet, incredibly opinionated and knows exactly what he wants.  He finished up soccer this month and despite not always seeming to enjoy it, he talked us into Tee Ball for the summer.  He is best friends with all the girls at school, has developed a recent obsession with stickers and wants to do art projects or ride his tricycle all day.  He is also in a mom phase (after 6 months of dad, dad, dad) culminating in asking mom to be his wife when he is "grown up and a farmer."

Carter (5 years) - Carter had a big month!  Birthday, end of baseball, trips, graduation.  Goodness.  He keeps trying to grow up on us as much as we keep trying to get time to stop.  His latest practice is waking himself up, getting dressed, coming downstairs, getting breakfast and turning on cartoons.  He is incredibly excited to start kindergarten though probably a little nervous underneath.  Carter loves Avery and is fabulous at making up songs to keep her entertained.

Siblings - As always, the kids are so much fun to watch.  A recent favorite activity of the boys is playing Master Chef.  They cook up a meal for mom and dad to taste.  Parker puts green beans in everything and tends to make tacos.  Carter likes to make lots of things stacked on top of each other and typically declares himself the winner.  Here are some pictures of the kids enjoying hanging out together.
