Fall Break in Chattanooga - Day 1

With Carter off school for a few days we planned a quick family trip to Chattanooga, TN. We packed in lots of family fun over three days starting Sunday morning.  Thankfully, Chattanooga is a short drive from Atlanta so we were able to check into the hotel by 10am and we were at the Creative Discovery Museum by 10:15.  The kids had a blast and we had to drag them out to make it to the Aquarium before it closed.  Highlights were all the art mediums to try, lots of musical instruments to play and a farm to farmer's market exhibit.

After dragging the kids from the museum, we headed to the aquarium.  The boy's favorite parts were the Sting Ray touch tank and Penguins.  Avery loved all the sounds, the outside exhibits, and the large tanks where lots of movement and colorful fish swam by.

After the aquarium, we went back to the hotel to get our room and head out to dinner.  We stayed in on old historic hotel downtown.  The boys loved the original phone booths.

After dinner, we grabbed ice cream, walked around Coolidge Park and watched the sunset over the Tennessee River.  After a busy day, everyone passed out hard back at the hotel!
