February at School

Avery's highlight of the month was Valentine's day at school.  She has had her Valentine's wrapped for a month and was so excited to finally share them with her friends (she gave them a "Your Dino-mite" card with a dinosaur cup and playdoh).  Mom got to come to her Valentine's party and help the class make a fun picture craft.  Mom was also Avery's Mystery Reader which happened to fall on mom's birthday.  The perfect birthday lunch!

Parker's highlight of the month was the 100th day of school.  He dressed the part and brought in his collection of 100 things, a poster with 100 pictures of Parker!  The school celebrated with a parade of the kindergarten class and cupcakes.  Other highlights were his Valentine's Day party, International Day (mom was a volunteer) and a fun Winter Activity Day celebrating the Olympics (he has been making medals ever since).  Parker brought his friends "I dig you" Valentine's with a construction vehicle and pop rocks.

Carter also got to enjoy International Day and even let mom hang out with him for a bit (he is getting old for that type of thing).  Carter continues to love math the most but his teachers and parents are very impressed with how much he has improved in reading and writing over the year.  He also had a fun Valentine's Day party and brought his friends etch-art Valentines and balloons.
