Winter Break: Disney Cruise - Part 3: The Boat

Our cruise was on the Disney Dream, one of their two larger boats.  There were tons of areas to explore and activities to part take in for the kiddos and Mom and Dad alike.  A long weekend definitely wasn't enough time to take advantage of everything!  The kids did take several trips to the kids club where they had lots of different themed rooms (ex. Toy Story, Millennium Falcon) and activities going on.  Mom/Dad were even able to enjoy a Mixology class while they were the little ones begged to stay in the kids club one day.  There was also a scavenger hunt type game on board with 3 different mysteries to solve utilizing interactive artwork and other surprises spread all over the ship (the kids did all three).  Disney put on a show each night in the theater plus several shows on the pool deck.  And there was also a magician on board who did separate shows.  The boys even went to a class to learn magic tricks (ask Carter to show you how he can make a ring travel uphill against gravity).  Disney is also the only cruise line to launch fireworks off the boat.

For being a cruise ship, we also had some good food.  Carter was particularly excited when he realized he could basically ask for whatever food he wanted and they would bring it.  Dad often had a hard time choosing what to eat so instead of making a tough decision, he would order multiple items.

Dad couldn't decide on dessert so he ordered three!
