We all went to the Blue Reef Beach Club which is a hotel on the water. We ended up having enough people to rent out the area for ourselves, it was an awesome day.
We spent the morning/early afternoon swimming, playing on the sand, kayaking, eating, drinking, buying lots of bracelets from vendors that walked by and getting Avery's hair braided. The dads decided the ocean was the place to be so they all dragged chairs out to a sand bar and set up camp. The waiter even delivered buckets of beer to them and ceviche.
The hotel event supplied us with a Pinata to celebrate on of the kids' upcoming birthdays.
We were all very sad to leave and somehow Avery worked her way into a personal escort from the hotel staff to our taxi.
We had an early boarding time in Costa Maya but we decided to squeeze in one last activity before we went back... a fish pedicure. It tickled a little and looked odd but was such a fun experience.
