May at School

Carter had a busy last month of the year with several fun events.  His chorus group sang in the last chapel of the year.  Carter was very nervous about it but said it was fun!  Mom and dad joined Carter for lunch for his birthday.  Carter had Fun Day where the kids spend the entire day playing games.  Hos favorite was water Roadkill and mom even got to join in.  Carter's big end of the year project was a Living Museum where he was Martin Luther King Jr.  Not pictured was Carter's Cub Scout ceremony where we officially received his Bear rank - on to Webelos.  Last, Carter brought home some awesome art in his end of the year portfolio.

Parker also had a very busy May.  He loved Fun day as well including running into his class' incredibly sweet student tutor.  Parker officially got his Tiger rank in cub scouts and will start on Wolf in the Fall.  Other than that he finished the month wrapping up reading and math units, playing in the Ingen lab and bringing home his art portfolio.  Parker loved 1st grade!

Sweet cards Parker's class made me for being a room parent

Avery also had a busy month.  With a summer birthday, we got to have an quick early party after chapel one day.  She also got her birthday blessing during chapel.  In addition to Mother's Day, Avery also got to celebrate Father's Day with breakfast with dad and an awesome tie she made herself.  There were also lots of fun end of the year activities including pajama day, a magician and spirit day.  Avery is very excited about Kindergarten but is going to miss her sweet preschool very much!
