November at School

Carter had the most fun at school this month in Ingen.  His class was divided into groups and asked to think of a problem at Lovett and come up with a way to solve it.  His group thought about the trash generated in the lunchroom.  He loved the process of building prototypes to help solve their problem and adjusting them based on feedback.

Parker had a fun field trip to the Tellus Museum.  His favorite part was the vial of stones he brought home.   He is still enjoying school especially science and PE.

Avery also had a fun field trip this month to the Art Barn.  Mom got to chaperone.  The kids learned about farm animals, composting and bees.

Avery also had a Thanksgiving day celebration where she got to rotate between 4 kindergarten classes and learn something about Thanksgiving in each of them and make a craft.  Mom and Mimi came to help!

A boy at school gave Avery this necklace.  She was so excited!
