May

May wasn't as traditionally busy as past years but we found lots to keep the kids entertained.

Avery (5 years, 9 months) - Avery's after school performing arts class wrapped up the semester with a virtual performance.  Avery and her friend Caroline decided to do it together and invited a few neighbors to come watch.  They sang and danced to a few songs, played the guitar and enjoyed showing off for a bit.

Avery spends most of her free time with a sweet group of neighborhood girls.  They get into lots of mischief together but we are thankful she has friends close by who put up with Avery's antics!

Avery was probably most excited this month because she finally got to dye her hair.  She choose 3 colors - teal, purple and hot pink.  The pink lasted the longest, about a full week.  She was thrilled to look like Mal from one of her favorite movies, Descendants.

Otherwise, Avery has been spending lots of time at the pool.  And entertaining herself with art projects, tea parties and watching Zombie 2.

Parker (8 years, 6 months) - Parker has been enjoying quarantine as its meant lots more time to play with friends.  He has been loving riding bikes, building forts and looking for honeysuckles with hid buddies.  And he likes to Facetime with school friends when he can.

Carter (10 years) - Carter was very excited about turning double digits.  This also meant he got his annual check-up and had his first experience wearing a face mask.  He is very excited for summer especially since his baseball team is able to start up practice and tournaments again.

Siblings - The kids have been spending lots of time outside swimming, on the slip n slide, playing tennis and doing birthday drive bys.
