May at School

Carter finished up school with some fun virtual events to celebrate birthdays, teacher appreciation and even Father's Day.  He made a presentation with 10 reasons why he loved his dad which was super sweet.  Overall Carter really enjoyed virtual learning for the flexibility and condensed daily schedule it gave him.  But he is looking forward to physically being back at school in the Fall!

Parker also finished up school with a Father's Day celebration with a slideshow and lots of fun activities to do with dad.  He didn't mind the condensed virtual school schedule but definitely missed seeing people in person.

Avery loved K but was definitely ready for a break from the work.  Completing her work (especially writing) was often a struggle for her and she regularly felt the need to change where she did her work - probably mainly to waste time.  She did complete all her spelling works for the year which she was very proud of.  And her teachers came by to drop off some classroom stuff which was very exciting.  Avery's class had an end of the year celebration where she got the BEE Award for being a good friend.  And she told everyone she wanted to be a mermaid when she grew up.
