Hollywood Studios - Part I

Waking up in Orlando, we were greeted to a beautiful sunrise as we walked to the Skyliner station to ride the gondolas to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

We headed first towards Toy Story Land and rode Slinky Dog Dash and the Alien Saucers, both new rides for all three of us.

Before we headed to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, we stopped quickly for a bakery made pop-tart.  Carter and Parker were less than thrilled with it, Dad found it delicious.
Then it was time to head to Black Spire Outpost on the Planet Batuu (Star Wars Land).  We immediately went to the Millennium Falcon and rode Smuggler's Run (a very cool interactive ride).  Parker was out pilot, while Carter and Dad manned the weapons.  Spoiler alert, we succeeded in our mission.

This newest "land" is one you could spend a whole day alone exploring.  The detail in the buidlings and scenery was very neat to see.

The boys even partook in some of the more out there offerings with a taste of a frosty Blue Milk from the local Milk Stand

Soon it was time to explore the rest of Hollywood Studios and go on some old favorites like Aerosmith's Rockin' Rollercoaster (this was Parker's first time and he loved it).

Turns out Dad is well known in these parts...

Then to a ride Parker and Dad really like, Carter... not so much, but he did ride with us once, after we promised he would never ever have to again in his life (he offered to babysit Avery if needed when a return trip comes in the future).

It was an exhausting day, but a ton of fun.  We ended the day with a quick bite at the hotel and all were asleep by 9:00pm resting for another park in the morning.
