Avery's school gets a week off for Fall Break that unfortunately doesn't coincide with time off for the boys. So mom and Avery went to the beach while the boys stayed home to be good students! We tagged along with 2 other families to Cape San Blas in Florida. We have been there as a family once before in July 2017 but Avery had no memories of that trip (she was almost 3). Cape San Blas is fairly underdeveloped for a Florida beach so it makes a wonderful relaxing place to vacation.
We rented a large house right on the beach and were easily able occupy our time in the water, playing in the sand, walking to get ice cream, riding bikes and playing cards. We had a good group of kids for Avery to play with. It was a great quick trip to recharge as our Fall schedule continues to get super hectic!
