Halloween

Halloween fell on a Sunday this year and it was Game 5 of the World Series so things were more subdued than usual but we still fit in some fun.

Boys pumpkins - Lovett and Braves.  Avery's black cat didn't make it long.

Avery celebrated with Pumpkin Day at school where they had a full day dedicated to all things pumpkin from crafts and snacks to math and writing.  She dressed up like a pumpkin to add some more fun.

Parker got to experience the Fall Festival at school with a full day of activities including bounce houses, games, a magician, crafts and more.  He came home with Red Hair and full of sugar.

All the kids got to dress up for Halloween at School.  Avery had Book Character Day and went as Humphry the Hamster.  Carter was a Braves Player and Parker was a light-up stick figure.

On Halloween itself our neighborhood had its annual Halloween Festival.  Unfortunately the Boys had baseball practice but mom and Avery were able to go and participate in all the fun.  Avery was a bowl of Fruit Loops and won best costume for the 2nd-3rd grade group.  Dad made it just in time for the Family Costume Contest and Toucan Sam and the bowl of Cereal also won best Family costume.

We hung out with friends and collected way to much candy before calling it an early night to go to a friends house and watch the baseball game.
