Parker's Baptism

We woke up bright and early Sunday morning for the start of daylight savings for a wonderful reason... Parker's Baptism!  Poor Carter had a rough night so we packed up the car and then transferred him straight from crib to car seat.  The sleepiness worked in our favor because he was great on stage.  He was a bit confused.

 Parker did great.  He let Vic hold him and just looked around at the congregation.

We learned that Parker comes from the work 'Park' so Parker will love the outdoors and nature.  He thought that sounded pretty good to him.

We have formal pictures coming but here are the informal snapshots.  Dad got all dressed up for the occasion.

Parker thought it was funny he was wearing a dress....

But mom thought he looked quite handsome.  He actually wore the gown his mom was baptized in.

We tried to grab a picture of the boys but it doesn't always work so well with a toddler.

So we snapped one with mom instead.

It was a wonderful morning and we're very thankful for the joy Parker brings to our lives.  We can't wait to see what a wonderful man he grows up to be.
