A Boys' Trip to the Zoo

Mom had a busy morning on Sunday and needed to go take a test for one of her professional certifications, so the boys had to find something to do.  Luckily Zoo Atlanta was having a Boo in the Zoo event.  Carter dressed in his old cow costume from last year's Halloween and Parker decided to put on his best impression of a tiger.  Then we were off to trick or treat at the Zoo.  Carter was shy at first...
But soon started to really get into it and wanted pictures everywhere
The zoo did a great job with trick or treat stations every 150 to 200 feet throughout the zoo.  They also had a number of fun games for the little ones.
I am pretty sure this is the first cow to help groom a sheep!
The hay maze confused Carter, but they had good clues if you could answer some animal trivia like "does a zebra have stripes?".  Eventually we made it out and continued our journey.
Not to be the only one getting treats, Carter made sure to share some of the treating fun with the birds.
Overall it was a great training experience for Carter to work on saying "Trick-or-Treat" and he definetly enjoyed getting all the goodies in his bag.  Parker hung on Dad's chest or was in the stroller and seemed to really enjoy watching all the other kids in their costumes.
