Weekly Recap

Parker (11 months)
Parker is definitely getting more adventurous.  He has taken a real interest in riding Carter's power wheel.

He is also crawling everywhere and can pull himself up on anything.  His favorite thing eat is crayons, which is tough because we have a lot of those!  And he has figured out how to get into the crayon boxes to get them out.

He is eating more solid food and very little baby food but his preferences seem to change daily.  He appears to have several more teeth that are just starting to move in as his gums are a little swollen and he is having some fussy moments.  Nothing seems imminent though.

Carter (2 years, 5 months)

Carter's favorite activity at home is being outside.  He likes to go out after he wakes up from his afternoon nap and wait for Hailey (our neighbor's three year old daughter and Carter's new best friend) to come home.  

He has also taken an interest in "cooking".  Here he is cooking a tootsie roll he got at the zoo.  He is very innovative in his technique.

Who knew that putting a tootsie roll in two dog bowls, covering it with bubble wrap and putting a box grader on the top would work?

You have to love a toddler's imagination!
