GT Homecoming

GT's Homecoming game was a 7pm this year which meant a long but fun day!  The boys were up early and enjoyed a daddy cooked breakfast (toaster strudel) before we jumped in the car for the 8am Homecoming parade.
The boys enjoyed checking out all the decorations around campus - this year was a Roman theme.
We met up with the Whitney's and enjoyed laughing at the crazy contraptions that came our way (they can't be directly powered by a conventional engine).

After the parade, the fun really picked up when we found a bulldozer...
Mr. Mark let the kids on the baseball field...
Which was all next to the golf cart staging area.  Seriously, the kids could have stayed there FOREVER.  They all took turns testing out the carts, switching driving and passenger roles and making up stories about where they were going.

We dragged them all home for lunch and a nap before we headed back to campus for tailgating.  The boys passed the time by setting up a booth to sell "food".

Selling Madie and Leslie some salad and chicken.  Official dollars were required (aka old Basketball stubs).
The boys grabbed a quick bite to refuel before we took a walk to see the Terek's before the team arrived.

We walked over to Yellow Jacket Alley with the Terek family.  The kids all looked so cute sitting quietly in a line mesmerized by the drums.

Buzz came by so the kids took a quick picture (Parker preferred to be held and yell "Hi Bee").
They also smiled with the Baton Twirler who was very sweet despite Carter getting a little "Handsy".  Note his right hand in the picture, he was rubbing it up and down her leg - guess he liked the feel of her tights???
The boys (all three) cheered on the players.
And then we headed to meet Mimi who took the little ones home while mom and dad enjoyed a Yellow Jacket victory!  And we gave away all of our extra Halloween candy... success!
