Parker's Birthday

After several early birthday celebrations, littlest man Parker's big second birthday finally arrived.  Mom and dad decorated the night before so things would be festive for the special day!

Parker wasn't quite sure what was going on the next morning (yes, he is holding his cookie jar).

But he found his birthday chair, saw daddy's yummy breakfast and soon warmed up to his presents.  Carter really wanted him to open his present before school so Carter obliged.

Carter picked out a Little People car wash.  Seriously, how cute is this picture?

After school and work, we opened up the rest of the gifts.  Parker had become quite the pro by now and could open gifts one handed (snack in the other for refueling as necessary).

After gifts, it was mini cupcake time.  Parker was amused by the attention...

But had no problem digging into the cupcake!

Nor did big brother.

Best buds!

After cupcakes, the boys decided they wanted banana bread for breakfast so they all headed to the kitchen.

And then it was time for bed.  Happy Birthday sweet boy!
