With a new baby in the house we had to make some room by letting a few other babies leave the nest. Since our butterflies emerged the the day Avery was born, it only made sense to let them go the day Avery came home. The boys were excited to watch the butterflies in their habitat...
But they were a little hesitant to help the butterflies come out.
But a few of the Butterflies were excited to say "Hello" to Carter on their way out.

Dad enjoyed showing off the butterflies to the boys and Avery.
Though the little lady slept through the hole thing!
