Sullivan's Island

We fit in 2 boat trips while we were in town.  The first was a tour of Charleston Harbor focusing on restoration efforts to rebuild the Crab bank which serves as a nesting ground for thousands of seabirds. Carter has shown some interest in environmental issues lately so we figured this would be of interest to him.  We were lucky to see a pod of 7-8 dolphin in the harbor and seeing the bird activity on Castle Pickney was super cool.

For our second trips we went Shark teeth hunting on Morris Island which was also new to everyone.  It was a beautiful day and the kids came back with quite the haul!
