Saturday was a big day in Carter's life... it was his first date! His future girlfriend was handpicked by dad, and I have to say he did pretty good. The special lady is Caitlyn Whitney and she's a cutie. Now some might say Carter is robbing the cradle on this one, after all Caitlyn in only 2-1/2 months old. But we figured we'd give it a whirl!
Carter was quite excited to see Caitlyn and started out on his best behavior.
Then he started to get a little crazy. He showed off all his 9-month moves...
and we had to put the camera down as Carter went in for his first hug. Actually it was more like a lung and there is a decent chance he was going for Caitlyn's cute pink paci. Luckily Caitlyn is an easy going gal as she just thought Carter was a crazy boy and didn't make a peep. Even when he did it again!
Despite the paci grabbing incident, Caitlyn still agreed to go out to lunch with Carter. Carter was really excited about the success of his first date and can't wait to see Caitlyn again!
ohhh hahha! adorable!! ps- we'll be in Atlanta the weekend of march 12. I'm in a wedding, so it will be a busy weekend, but once we nail down plans, maybe we can squeeze in a lunch on Sunday? I'll let you know, but we'd LOVE to see you if possible :)
ReplyDeleteLove the date commentary! Caitlyn wants Carter to know that she had a really fun time and hopes to see him again some time soon...no doubt with her dad there to chaperone!
