Do you know what the best part of Carter's 9 month Dr appointment was???? No Shots! It was really nice. Without the scare of needles, Carter had a ball at the Dr's office. He made several friends in the waiting room and showed off all his skills for the nurses. The kid just doesn't stay still anymore.
Here are Carter's stats:
Weight - 19lb 11oz (40th percentile)
Height - 28-1/4" (50th percentile)
Head - 45-1/2" (65th percentile)
Carter's weight percentile has dropped a little which the Dr said was probably because he is moving so much these days. His height percentile shot up quite a bit which has really changed his body. He isn't all thighs and belly anymore.
The Doctor went through her check list and Carter passed with flying colors. Crawling, pulling up, cruising, feeding himself, transferring small objects between hands, babbling different consonants, object recognition, object permanence, peek-a-boo... yes Carter did them all!
I hope all future Dr visits are this easy (wishful thinking I know).
