Month 8 - Week 4

I think this post sets the record for most pics in one post but it was a fun week. Carter is constantly moving and loves getting into everything. As evidenced but his infatuation with the dog bowls...Luckily dad is around to help out.Carter and dad also had fun this week hitting up the zoo. Carter made sure to grab his sun protection and his paci. Unfortunately, he didn't have any pockets so he improvised. The weather was absolutely gorgeous this weekend so besides the zoo we also took Carter's tyke for it's first daylight spin around the neighborhood. It was a big hit!

Carter spent the week continuing to practice his standing. Everything is a target...
Besides standing and crawling, Carter likes to be on the move. The method doesn't really matter.
All that moving can leave a baby exhausted so Carter makes sure to take it easy once in a while... Like father... like son.
and curl up with a good book.Carter also made great progress with his food repertoire. He has been enjoying all sorts of food at daycare including turkey, stuffing, lots of fruits and veggies and even tomato soup! Carter has gotten really good with his pincer grasp. Even though he is feeding himself he always makes the funniest face the first time he feeds himself. He seems to be enjoying using his new top tooth that finally popped through!Luckily by bite 3 he is loving it.And by bite 5 he is distracted by the dogs and gives up trying. The cycle repeats several times a meal!
Carter had a great week being a typical baby. Always one with the best facial expressions, here are some fun shots from this week.
