Easter Morning

We started the Easter fun a few days earlier when Grandmama and Carter made bunny biscuits...
But the real fun started on Easter morning!  We changed the boys out of their Pjs and headed to our favorite holiday breakfast spot... Waffle House.
Carter ate a huge breakfast!  Apparently he was loading up since he knew he had a big day ahead.  When we got home, the Easter bunny had hopped by and dropped of some goodies for two very lucky little boys.
Sweet little Parker was just about the same size as his basket!
After emptying both baskets, Carter noticed something else the Easter bunny left in the front yard.
Being an egg hunt veteran, Carter wasted no time and headed out to collect his loot!

The bunny had left behind a few sports themed eggs and they threw Carter for a loop.  He picked up the basketball egg, yelled "basketball shoot" and chucked it in the air!
He then found a baseball egg and showed off his overhand throw!
 After locating the final eggs...
Carter squealed with delight and decided it was time to go play with his new toys.
Parker had been supervising all the fun with and was excited to get in on the fun.
Carter was particularly excited about his new bubbles and had dad play his favorite bubble game... bubble on the belly!
 After LOTS of bubble blowing...
it was time for an early nap because the Holden's had more Easter fun scheduled for the afternoon.
