It was a busy morning because the Holden clan was off to Colorado for Aunt Bailie's wedding! We have been talking to Carter about airplanes and what to expect for a few weeks now. It had been over 8 months since his last flight so we weren't sure how he would handle it. Fortunately we were able to get an extra seat on the plan and we had MeMama with us to lend an extra hand. She brought lots of goodies to entertain Carter with.
After his flight a few weeks back, Parker is an expert traveler and was ready to get going!
We made it to Denver without any major trouble. Pat and dad were able to alternate entertaining Carter and mom handled Parker.
Carter was worn out from all the fun so he promptly passed out with his grilled cheese sandwich and water cup.
When we got to the hotel, we packed up our luggage...
And headed to our room. The boys woke up and were really excited for the fun weekend ahead!
We took a few pictures of the little buys in their plan outfits (shirts, bibs and hats).
Before Carter decided to call MeMama to come hang out (he was obsessed with talking on the phone all weekend).
Parker was excited to see MeMama so he could use her bracelets as teethers.
We spent the afternoon ready for the weekend. Mom got her nails done and the boys got haircuts. We ran errands, got dinner and got ready for bed.
We have a big weekend planned so we all hit the sack early!
