Good Bye Circle-Serve

Mom and Dad took Carter for his first trip to their Alma Mater, Lovett, to say goodbye to the Circle-Serve. For those non-Lovett folk, the Circle-Serve is a circular device that rotated food from the kitchen around to the hungry students standing around the rest of the circle. The Circle-Serve had been in operation since 1978. Mom and Dad couldn't pass up the opportunity for one last Conga Bar from the Circle-Serve so they packed up the little guy for a mid-week trip. Carter patiently waited his turn in line until a stall opened up. He rushed in to grab some dinner for mom and dad.Carter wasn't quite to sure what all the fuss was about but mom and dad enjoyed the trip.

It was such a nice day out that we decided to take a stroll around campus. It didn't take too long before Carter found the Lovett Lion.
We then played around in the grass where Carter practiced his wave...
And made some SUPER smiley faces at the passersby....
And he even finally crawled for the first time in grass after lots of coxing from Mom and Dad.
As we were about to leave, Carter was really excited to see that he was already a fixture at Lovett where a field was named in his honor! It was a fun, quick trip back to Lovett and a nice way to say good-bye to the Circle-Serve!
